Puffing Billy merchandise
Design Brief: To create a new line of merchandise that would sell across their stores and stations, and to give the brand a fresh new look.
Challenge: I wanted to incorporate existing Puffing Billy branding with a unique look that wasn’t a typical tourist line; one that would appeal widely to adults and children.
Solution: I suggested creating two lines: a core one which would be Puffing Billy branded, and an ‘artist’ range which would have a boutique feel and reflect the natural beauty and wildlife of the local surroundings.
I created a new logo, illustrations, concept designs and collaborated with a local artist to create the unique rosella artwork.
Feedback: The line was rolled out in the Belgrave store just recently. The feedback on social media has been great and the ‘artist’ range has received high-praise.
